Did you know that we have tuition programs in place for families that would otherwise be unable to send their children to our school due to financial constraints?
Our Tuition Adjustment Programs (or bursaries) are a wonderful part of our school and would not be possible without our Bone Broth Fundraiser.
Our bone broth is organic and free range (beef, turkey or chicken available) with sales supporting our tuition programs. In the winter our bone broth can be bought from Vale Farms.
Would you like to help support Okanagan Waldorf School in a very easy way? Please keep your Nature’s Fare receipts! Pass them along to a parent, message us to have them picked up (if you are in the Vernon area), or mail them to the school.
How can you raise money for our school without spending more than you already were planning to? Purchase gift cards through Fundscrip or Save On Foods. The school gets a percentage of every dollar you spend, on everything from groceries, gas, and clothing to plywood, tires, and music or movies! All it takes is a little pre-planning.
For a limited time, Healthy Spot is donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Vale Farm’s beef and lamb bones to Okanagan Waldorf School. If you have a four-legged friend that loves beef and bones, please consider purchasing these products from Healthy Spot in Vernon. Visit Healthy Spot’s website.
Each Fall Okanagan Waldorf parents meet for two full days of apple pie baking! This past October we baked over 300 pies to sell to raise funds for our school. Your next opportunity to buy these frozen pies will be at our Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 25th, 2017. Otherwise, keep us in mind next year and get in touch with us to place your order at (250) 547-9212.
Like most not-for-profits we do collect bottles! This fundraiser supports the travel costs for our Grade 5 class each year to travel to the Greek Olympiad. Bottles can be left at the school, in the bin at the parking lot exit, or can be returned to the bottle depot in Lumby with a request made for the collected funds go towards Okanagan Waldorf School.
